Phytoplankton are microscopic marine plants that form the basis of the entire marine food chain. In fact, phytoplankton is the original source of omega-3 fatty acids – not fish, as they get these fatty acids by eating plankton.
This supplement is simply a powder of two nutrient-rich microalgae, Nannochloropsis gaditana and Schizochytrium, important plant-based sources of omega-3. Nannochloropsis is particularly rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), which has anti-inflammatory effects and supports the immune system. Schizochytrium stands out with its high content of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), a fatty acid crucial for brain, vision, and heart health. Both algae also contain valuable nutrients such as proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

This phytoplankton is cultivated in sustainable aquaculture. The plankton grows in filtered, natural seawater from the Pleistocene era (approx. 130,000 years old), extracted deep below the earth's surface. No pollution, no overfishing - just pure, safe omega-3 directly from the ocean's origin.
