Welcome to Tasseladden 💚
"Another online store for dogs with the same products as everyone else" , you might be thinking? Well, it's true that we are an online store for dogs (and cats!), but our assortment contains far from the same products as everyone else. With us you will find, among other things, slow feeders and licking mats, food, treats and supplements from brands you have never heard of. Many of the brands we carry, we are the only ones in Norway to carry, including Sund Hundmat, Logan's Natural Treats, Canumi and Natural Pets Food, as well as other brands that few others also carry. Our point is not to be exclusive and have everything that everyone else doesn't have, but we want to find the best products for the things we love the most, namely our dogs and cats!
You can trust that all the brands we carry care about the same thing as us, namely animal welfare. The first thing we ask when we contact new producers is, "how were the animals?" If the producers can't answer or avoid answering it directly, then we're not interested. Not only should our dogs and cats be well, but so should the animals that end up as food. It reflects good values among the producers, but also good quality of the products!

Me, Matilde, and my partner Markus bought our first dog together, a Finnish Lapphund, in 2022. He had never had a dog before, while my family got a dog when I was in my teens, also a Finnish Lapphund.
Like many others, after getting a dog, we came across a lot of dog-oriented content on social media - especially TikTok. We saw many users, mostly American, preparing rich meals for their dogs and using special bowls and licking mats, and therefore started looking for similar products here in the Norwegian market, but the selection of bowls that did not contain plastic was limited.
We created this online store with a desire to spread the message about enriching your dog's (and now your cat's) meal to improve their health and enrich their everyday life. This can be easily done by using slow feeders or lick mats, but also by adding natural and healthy treats, food or supplements! The name of the online store comes from the fact that, since our dog was a little puppy, I have called her 'tasseladden', because she pawed (subbed) around with her little paws 🥹
We have bought and tried many different treats on the market. Much of what is sold contains a lot (!!) of additives and unnecessary ingredients. When our regular pet store stopped selling the only brand that had treats made of 100% meat, we took matters into our own hands;
We only sell quality treats, food and chews that are made from 100% natural ingredients and raw materials. Everything we sell is also completely free of unnecessary additives and ingredients. We will be careful with the choice of supplements we take, and will always explain why we think the supplements will be worth adding.
