This is a complementary feed, and not a complete feed. The Vital blend is composed of three different organs known for their rich nutritional content; namely heart, liver, and kidney from cattle. These organs are also found in Sund Hundmat's complete feeds (approx. 5%). However, this product may be suitable for those of you who assemble your dog's raw food yourself, or it can be used as a vitamin booster 1-2 times a month.
The blend is packed with many essential nutrients, including iron, zinc, taurine, vitamin A, C, D, several B vitamins, selenium, as well as many of the essential amino acids dogs need. All these nutrients combined will be beneficial for, among other things, building and repairing tissues, supporting cardiovascular health, strengthening the immune system, metabolism, and cellular health, while also reducing oxidative stress. Taurine is super important for a healthy heart and good vision in both dogs and cats!
As liver has a high concentration of vitamin A, it should be given in moderation. Sund Hundmat recommends giving it only 1-2 times a month.Read this before ordering raw food shipments

Frozen raw food and frozen chews can either be picked up at our premises in Flatåsen, Trondheim, or shipped as a package to a pick-up point or for home delivery. If you wish to have it shipped by mail, it is important that you read the entire section on shipping frozen goods under "Shipping frozen goods" which you can find HERE.
Minimum order: 12 kg frozen goods (e.g., 24 x 500g or 12 x 1 kg)
Maximum per shipment: 1 Styrofoam box = 18 kg frozen food
Example of a full Styrofoam box:

- 18 x 1 kg
We do not ship these items:
- Complete food medallions in 800g
- Frozen beef neck 800g
The examples above are for guidance only. The size and shape of the products may vary, and small adjustments in content may therefore occur when purchasing a full Styrofoam box.
If you wish to purchase both frozen food and frozen chews, we can check if there is space in the Styrofoam box. If adjustment is necessary, we will contact you before shipping. If you order both frozen and dry goods (e.g., treats), we can send everything together if there is space; otherwise, it will be sent separately. You only pay one shipping cost.

As it is a complementary feed and not a complete feed, you cannot feed your dog solely with this. It is suitable for those who wish to mix their own food or simply want extra variety now and then.
You can safely mix raw meat with, for example, dry food. To prevent the food from becoming unbalanced, no more than 10% of the daily intake should be added. If the proportion of fresh food exceeds 10% of the total diet in the long term, the fresh portion must also be nutritionally balanced.
If you use it in a homemade diet, the amount given per portion can correspond to the amount of their complete feed. This means approximately 2% of body weight per day for adult dogs and 4–6% of body weight per day for puppies, young dogs, and pregnant bitches.
