This raw food is a supplementary feed, and not a complete feed. It can be advantageously combined with offal and bones to create a complete feed according to the BARF method, and will therefore be perfect for those who want to assemble homemade food for their dog. This is also excellent for those undergoing elimination diets in connection with allergy investigations or those who want to give it just now and then for some variety in the diet.
From the northern countries of Europe comes this lean and unique venison. Venison is a leaner meat than beef and other red meats, and is thus a good alternative for dogs that tend to gain weight more easily. It is a good source of B vitamins and minerals such as zinc, phosphorus, selenium, and iron. These nutrients are great for maintaining healthy energy levels, and many dogs and cats enjoy the taste.

Guidance
Ethically produced in Sweden.
As it is a supplementary feed and not a complete feed, you cannot feed with only this. It is suitable for those who wish to mix their own feed or simply want extra variety now and then.
You can safely mix raw meat with, for example, dry food. To prevent the food from becoming unbalanced, you should not add more than 10% of the daily intake. If the proportion of fresh food exceeds 10% of the total diet in the long term, the fresh portion must also be nutritionally balanced.
If you use it in a homemade diet, the amount given per portion can correspond to the amount of their complete feed. That is, approx. 2% of body weight per day for adult dogs and 4–6% of body weight per day for puppies, young dogs, and pregnant bitches.
Do not hesitate to contact their veterinarian if you are unsure or need help.
About the manufacturer ▾
Since its founding in 2011, their vision has been to provide pets with logical and healthy food made exclusively from natural ingredients. They wanted to be an alternative on the market without compromising on ethics or environmental considerations. The result is Sund Hundmat — modern complete food, chews, and treats from animals that have had free access to daily outdoor activity and grazing all year round. They clearly distance themselves from intensive breeding, and their production is powered by 100% renewable energy. It’s all about sustainable production, the highest quality, and plain common sense.
