Tuna is also one of the most complete protein sources available, as it contains the ten essential amino acids needed for healthy cell development, a strong immune system, and to build or maintain muscle mass.
As a fatty fish, tuna contains the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which, among other things, protect the heart, support blood circulation, and prevent heart disease. It is also rich in potassium, which can help lower blood pressure.
The product is made from the fish's belly fillet (ventresca). Analyses of this product also confirm that the levels of mercury, cadmium, and lead are far below the maximum limit and very low for tuna, meaning it is completely unproblematic to provide this as a supplement in the food bowl!

Save the water from the cans, as it contains large amounts of minerals, vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids. The water itself is flavorful and thus a good contribution to hydration.
You can either pour the liquid directly over the food or divide the contents of the can and freeze them in ice molds. Before meals, take out the frozen portions and let them thaw before serving. Your dog and cat will love it!
