Beef liver is rich in iron, zinc, phosphorus, vitamins A, B, and D, folic acid, and essential fatty acids. This tasty treat is a good choice for protecting and supporting the digestive system, immune system, reproductive organs, and muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems.
Note: Give in moderation and as an occasional treat. Dried liver is an excretory organ (like kidney, pancreas, and spleen), and should not exceed more than 5% of the daily total food intake. In a BARF diet, excretory organs make up 10%, with liver being half of that. Give a maximum of 1-2g per 10 kg of body weight per day. Overconsumption over a longer period can lead to digestive problems.
