Oxtail is made up of bone, cartilage, muscle tissue and connective tissue, which are natural sources of important nutrients for dogs. The bone contains calcium and phosphorus, which are essential for strong teeth and bones, while the cartilage and connective tissue contribute collagen, which supports joint health and skin. The chewy meat provides a natural chewing experience that can help clean teeth and strengthen jaws.
These are perfect as a reward or for entertainment, and will be a good option to stimulate your dog's need to chew. Regularly giving your dog chews can prevent the formation of plaque and tartar, and thus contribute to better oral and dental health.
