The meat used in Mr. Bones products is human grade! It is air dried at low temperatures to gradually remove moisture while extending shelf life, and finally ground into a topper. This method preserves all nutrients, aromas and flavors.
Research shows that grass-fed, pasture-raised meat has higher nutritional levels and better health benefits for your pet than meat from grain-fed animals. Among the benefits is that it has higher amounts of vitamin K1 , which is then converted to K2 ( which is important for normal blood clotting and good bone health). Otherwise, it contains a higher amount of antioxidants such as glutathione and superoxide dismutase. A healthier balance between omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and not least 25-50% lower fat content which also means fewer calories!

Made in Spain. The meat used comes from cattle that have been grazing for most of their lives. Specifically, the cattle come from the province of Salamanca and north of Extremadura. By working with local producers, Mr. Bones helps reduce its carbon footprint.
