Horse is a lean protein source, rich in iron, and easily digestible. It is often considered a hypoallergenic protein source and can therefore be a good alternative for dogs with allergies or sensitivities to the most common protein sources (beef, chicken).
Chews with fur are an excellent and very functional source of insoluble fiber. Because the fur is not broken down during digestion, it helps cleanse the intestines and can remove undigested food, toxins, and parasites. It will also increase the volume of the dog's stool, and can therefore be beneficial for dogs who struggle to empty their anal glands on their own.
Air-dried at low temperatures to gradually eliminate moisture and extend shelf life, while preserving nutrients, aromas, and flavors.
