Goat is a fantastic and relatively underused protein in commercial pet food, and is a perfect alternative for those sensitive to protein sources such as beef or chicken. It is an excellent source of lean protein, with lower cholesterol, fat, and sodium levels compared to many other types of red meat. In addition, goat meat is rich in essential minerals such as zinc and potassium, as well as omega-3, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid, which has many health benefits) and B vitamins.
The treats are air-dried at low temperatures to gradually eliminate moisture and extend shelf life, while preserving nutrients, aromas, and flavors.
