The Elite mix is a high-energy food made from 100% beef – with extra pure animal fat added for growing or very active dogs. It contains almost 50% more fat than the frozen complete feed made from beef, and is ideal for dogs with a need for extra energy, such as rescue and competition dogs of various kinds, or dogs that live outdoors. The Elite mix also contains heart and liver, and the high proportion of rumen in the mix, approximately 40%, gives this meal a very characteristic and naturally appetizing aroma. The meat is also seasoned with a natural mineral and herbal mixture.

Handling and durability
Handling and durability
- Place the package/raw feed in an airtight container and let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
- If you want to defrost food faster, you can place it in a warm water bath.
The food seems to taste and smell best when it is slightly lukewarm, but some dogs like it slightly frozen - especially on hot summer days.
❗️ Remember to be careful with hand hygiene! The same rules that apply when handling fresh meat for humans also apply when handling fresh dog food.
- Once the meat is thawed, it will keep for about 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
- The best-before date on the package is set at two years from the date of production, but this only applies to unopened frozen packaging.

Puppies, young dogs and pregnant bitches:
Read more about feeding puppies / young dogs here .
The nutritional needs of puppies, young dogs and pregnant bitches differ from adult dogs in general. The need is met by consuming a larger amount of food. In principle, the food intake is doubled, so the amount of food per day usually corresponds to 4-6% of body weight. Puppies and young dogs should have their food divided into 2-3 meals per day. They are growing and therefore need food. Let the puppy eat until he is full, but keep an eye on his weight. Pregnant bitches should have free access to food.
Adult dogs (over 12 months)
As a starting point, it is a good idea to feed an adult dog 2% of its body weight per day. However, larger breed dogs tend to need less food percentage-wise than smaller breed dogs because their body surface area is smaller in relation to their body volume. The need can therefore vary between 1-3% of body weight per day, or 12-20% of body weight per week. Serve food 1-2 times a day.

It is quite normal for food to vary slightly in terms of, for example, colour, smell and texture. This depends on the rumen, and is related to factors such as age, sex, breed etc. of the cattle. The particular smell of the rumen comes from beneficial lactic acid bacteria, and is therefore nothing to worry about. It is quite normal for the meat to smell slightly as long as it has been handled according to the instructions above.

Example of a full styrofoam box:

About the producer
Since its founding in 2011, their vision has been to provide pets with logical and healthy food made exclusively from natural ingredients. They wanted to be an alternative on the market without compromising on ethics or environmental considerations. The result is Sund Hundmat — modern complete food, chews, and treats from animals that have had free access to daily outdoor activity and grazing all year round. They clearly distance themselves from intensive breeding, and their production is powered by 100% renewable energy. It’s all about sustainable production, the highest quality, and plain common sense.
