Beef cartilage bones are a delightful chew that provides both enjoyment and nutrition for your dog. They are safe to give to dogs, as they are not weight-bearing bones. They are rich in glucosamine, chondroitin, and collagen — important building blocks for healthy joints, cartilage, and connective tissue.
Cartilage bones are gentler on the teeth than marrow bones, yet still promote good dental health by removing plaque and strengthening jaw muscles. Unfortunately, many dogs often suffer from dental and gum issues. With meat bones of the right size, dogs must use their entire set of teeth and jaw muscles to process the food. This action naturally cleans both teeth and gums. Dogs also have an innate need to chew, and these bones help satisfy that need.
Suitable for: Dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
Chew hardness: Low–medium
We always recommend supervising your pet and having fresh water available when giving chews! Make sure to offer a piece large enough so that your dog cannot swallow it whole.

Handling and durability
Handling and durability
Handling
If you are not feeding them frozen: Place the desired number of bones in an airtight container (glass/plastic) and let them thaw in the refrigerator overnight. If you want to thaw the bones faster, you can place the container in a warm water bath. The bones seem to taste and smell best when they are slightly warm, but some dogs don't seem to mind being served slightly frozen, especially on hot summer days.
Remember to be careful with hand hygiene – the same rules for handling fresh food for us humans also apply when handling fresh dog food.
Durability
Once the bones are thawed, they will keep for about 2-3 days in the refrigerator. The best-before date on the package is from the date of production, but this only applies to unopened and frozen bones.
Other information
Other information
Must be stored in the freezer, and should not be boiled or fried as this can cause the bones to splinter and, in the worst case, injure the dog.
Defrost separately from other foods, e.g. in an airtight container, and serve. Do not defrost in a microwave or heat-treated.
After handling: wash hands and clean tools and surfaces with which the product has come into contact.
Store in the freezer at a temperature below -18°C.
Delivery options
Delivery options
Possible combinations in one polystyrene box:
- 24 x 500g
- 4 x 3kg
- 12 x 500g + 2 x 3kg
- 6 x 500g + 3 x 3kg
If you would like to order chews, that is of course possible, but you will need to remove 2–3 of the 500g packs or 1 x 3kg pack to make room for the chews in the same polystyrene box.
Note: It is not possible to order 12 kg and then add, for example, a few frozen chews in an extra box. An almost empty polystyrene box will not retain the cold, and the products risk thawing during transit. We also cannot ship 800g, as it will not stay frozen all the way to delivery.
